When doctor's say there is no hope.... there is still hope

Once again we heard the words no one wants to hear. "There is nothing more we can do." This is not the first time we have heard these words from doctors. We heard those words when the chemo caused paralysis and spinal cord damage and doctors gave my husband three weeks to live. We heard the words when the the spinal cord damage prevented my husband from receiving any more chemotherapy. We heard the words when the wound that developed in the hospital grew to stage IV. And we heard those words this Saturday when after spending a week in the hospital getting 4 blood transfusions and 2 platelet transfusions we were told the chemo caused too much damage to the bone marrow and it is no longer functioning.
